Polarising Filters 101...

Probably the one filter every photographer should have in his bag is the polariser, great for saturation, removing unwanted reflections and generally souping up you images (you can even use it a neutral density filter, if you need to lose a few stops of light) .

National Geographic's mails contain almost too much self-advertising for my liking these days. But the link in of the last ones drew my attention: Simply Beautiful Pictures has nothing revolutionary, but shows some nice specific examples of how choices can lead to a beautiful picture. Now I only should remember better, when in the field.
